Italian Cultural Night – Boston Children’s Museum – Mar 9

PIB, in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Boston, the Boston Children’s Museum and CASIT, is pleased to invite you to a family-fun ITALIAN CULTURAL NIGHT to enjoy music, dance and art!

Come and get entertained in fun and interactive activities related to the Italian culture, or just observe and learn from others. Visitors can participate to all activities, or just to some of them as they please.

The event will host the following activities and performances for children:

-Music: Tamburello, fisarmonica, guitar performance and sing-along of traditional Italian songs and “filastrocche”

-Dance: Tarantella lessons with the Newpoli music and dance group

-Art: see examples of beautiful Italian mosaics and create your own mosaic; learn about different Italian Carnival masks and decorate your own mask

When: Friday March 9th, 2012, 6-8pm

Where: Boston Children’s Museum, 308 Congress Street, Boston

Admission to the Museum is $1/visitor from 5-9 PM, and the Cultural event will take place from 6-8 PM. Kids and their families are welcome! For more info please click here.

Visitors may purchase food at the Au Bon Pain restaurant in the Museum or bring their own food to eat in a designated area.
